Welcome
I finally gave into the temptation I've had for a qfile - creating a seperate Sailor Moon section to my domain. I did this in part because I've returned to this series after a number of years and noted how many stories I've written for it. (23 or something? Probably more, *L*) But probably the biggest reason is because this was the anime that got me into the realm of anime, manga, otakus, Japan... Yep, Sailor Moon was that influencial. And to think it all started in January or Feburary of 1999 when I turned on Cartoon Network and started watching this show with large-eyed girls in sailor suits shouting out funny transformation phrases. DiC, thank you for dubbing it.
I really don't like the dubs at all, but if it had never been dubbed, I never would have known of this wonderful series or about all the other incredible anime and manga series out there. So for that purpose I applaud DiC and the voice actors of the US version of Sailor Moon. At least some of them had a passion for what they were doing - you can hear it in their voice.
In any case, I mix manga and anime together now and love a wide range of characters. Once a typical BSSM fangirl, drooling over 'Mamo-chan' and preaching the eternal love of Endymion and Serenity, I've taken a turn over the years and furthered my interests in the shows and vastly changed some of my opinions. Discussion of this will probably turn up in my babble (Notebook) section. ^_^V
