Yu Yu Hakusho
I can't remember how I was introduced to this, but I know I came in mostly with background of the movie and fanfic. When news of it being dubbed came around I scrambled to buy the dvds so that I wouldn't have to deal with English VAs, which are some of the worst I've ever had the displeasure of hearing. -_- My fansubs are pretty bad, though, given that I got them from Hong Kong, but I don't much care since I adore this series.
Favorite character started as Kurama. Still high up there, though I quite like Yusuke. Karasu, Yomi, and Kuwa's sister are my real favs, I think. The fiction here really varies. Bunch of Karasu material, some truly bizarre stuff, and the standard Hiei/Kurama.
