The Meaning of Christmas One of my favorite stories and certainly a holiday classic for me. A very touching story set during the first Christmas after Daniel's return. The team goes their seperate ways for the holidays, Daniel realizes he hasn't gotten any presents, and it's time for everyone to realize that there's more to family than sharing bloodlines. (Much love for the fact that Nyan makes an appearance!)
Revolution The season 7 episode "Evolution" had so much potential that for some reason isn't covered much by fic authors. This story does a wonderful job of fixing the episode and extending the plot.
A Life Lived Is there anything better than Daniel whumping? Daniel is the last of the team still at the SGC and is scheduled to ship out on the Pegasus but something goes awry. Old friends gather together in worry and begin to realize there's mistakes that need fixing. (Much love for the inclusion of Cassie!)
Dinner with Janet One of my top favorites of Aly's. I was so depressed when Janet died and no further mention ever appeared in canon. In this story Janet seems to have something she must do before moving on. Daniel's the only one who sees her; he thinks he knows what she needs to do. Janet disagrees and follows her instincts.
Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me During a mission a storm hits and Daniel doesn't make it through the gate with the others. Unfortunately the gate is permenantly lost, leaving the rest of the team desperate while Daniel comes to terms with the fact that he'll be stuck forever. Surely the team won't give up that easily, right?
The Long and Winding Yellow Brick Road If you think Aly's stories are usually of epic proportions, this sucker is one of her longest.
Fall to Heaven An interesting take on Daniel's return. I appreciate the unusual opening of this story. And how could I not love a fic that includes The West Wing's President Bartlet?
Wait for Me Ahh, "The Light." An amazing episode and a favorite for angsty!Daniel lovers. Aly explores what Daniel felt and found while under the light's spell. Looking at the archive, this is the first of Aly's stories posted. (Nov. 2001)
